Upper Valley at Work

School Resources

Schools can incorporate the Upper Valley at Work profile series and
website into their curriculum in a variety of ways:

-Teachers can show students examples of community members who are using skills
on the job that are taught in the classroom.

-Counselors can use the profiles as examples of local people who overcame
challenges in school and are now successful in their careers.

-School-to-Work Coordinators can share profiles with students to broaden their
horizons as a part of a career guidance program.

-Any school personnel can encourage students to visit the website to ask
questions of profiled community members.
